Congregational Programs
Looking for an Inspiring, Thought-Provoking Speaker?
I bring a wealth of professional and personal experience to your pulpit, based on my lifelong Unitarian Universalism, my work as a speaker and educator, and my passion for creating meaningful worship experiences. My values have been shaped by UU principles that include respect for each individual’s inherent worth and dignity as well as support for others’ search for a free and responsible search for truth and meaning. My own search for meaning led me to transition from a career in marketing communications to a spiritually fulfilling career in sexuality education, including a part-time job as the UUA’s OWL Program Associate.- “Spiritual Lessons Learned from Work and Play”
- “Honoring Your Own Inherent Worth and Dignity”
- “The Abstract Art of Parenting”
- “A UU Take on Faith and Miracles”
My services include a sermon, readings, meditations, hymn selections, and up to three vocal performances, depending on a congregation’s needs. For more information, please download my Unitarian Universalist Speaker Flyer. I can create a customized service for congregations seeking a specific topic, as well.
“How much did I love your service yesterday? Let me count the ways: 1) Fantastic music; 2) Great use of a Bible reading–I was so glad you included it; 3) Inspiring sermon; everyone felt uplifted, hopeful, and thoughtful — just what I look for in a sermon. Kudos, kudos, kudos. What a great day to have had so many visitors. Thank you so much.” — Laura Meerovich, UU Congregation of Somerset Hills
“Thank you for being with us today!! What a treat. Your music was beautiful and your message inspirational. After service I heard many people remarking on your sermon and using some of your thoughts and concepts.” –Bill Stroup, UU Fellowship of Lower Bucks, Fairless Hills, PA
“I was a guest last week and came back to hear you speak about Inherent Worth and Dignity. I have a lot of things to heal from, and your rules for self-talk have given me a lot to think about.” Visitor, UU Fellowship of Lower Bucks
“Every line you spoke had meaning for me today. I have a lot to think about.” — Jenny Manandhar Flynn, UU Congregation of Somerset Hills
