Thanks for stopping by! I look forward to having an opportunity to help you meet your goals for sexuality education, whether for your professional use or for yourself and your loved ones.
My experience as a sexuality educator began in 1984, as a patient educator for Planned Parenthood. A few years later, in 1999, I was certified to lead the Our Whole Lives Lifespan Sexuality Education program for junior high students. Their parents’ requests for advice led me to create workshops and a parents’ workbook on communication about sex.
My work is devoted to helping people learn about sexuality and sexual health and helping them become better communicators. As an AASECT-Certified Sexuality Educator, I consult with individuals and couples; deliver programs and workshops for consumers; train medical students, health care providers and other professionals; and develop resource materials and curricula. In addition, I am the co-founder and sexuality educator for the New Jersey Center for Sexual Wellness and am the co-president of the Sexuality and Aging Consortium at Widener University. I am an adjunct professor at Moravian College and have taught at Widener University and Marymount College. I am on the editorial advisory board of the American Journal of Sexuality Education and am a contributing sex educator to What They Are Asking, an interactive website that illustrates the need for adult sexuality education. I coordinate SaferSex4Seniors.org, an educational site for sexually active and/or interested adults in mid- and older age.
I approach sexuality as a positive part of life that should be treated with respect, care, integrity, and when appropriate, humor.
